Since the early ’80s, IRIS VON ARNIM has been creating timeless luxury from cashmere. Our cashmere comes from Inner Mongolia, whose cashmere tradition is one of the oldest in the world. The precious natural fibres are crafted in carefully selected manufactories according to the highest quality standards and the most innovative techniques.
Handknit
Handknit is the heart of the IRIS VON ARNIM collection: the designer laid the foundations for her brand with hand-knitted creations. As an expression of individuality and tradition, our hand-knitted models combine traditional craftsmanship with modern design. Meticulously crafted with great attention to detail, each piece becomes a unique creation. The chunky knit and distinctive texture give this style a characteristic, individual look.
Stonewashed Cashmere
Our exclusive stonewashed colour creations are manufactured in collaboration with a family business in Italy. A unique washing and dyeing process makes the colours appear more subtle and deeper, the knit more dimensional and the structures more sublime.
Superfine Cashmere
Our shirts made from superfine cashmere are true favourites: the styles are exceptionally light, seamless and made in Italy. The natural characteristics of cashmere ensure unique temperature regulation. Thanks to the silk composition, these shirts are ideal as a summer basic or can be easily layered on cooler days.
Brushed Cashmere
Our brushed cashmere is characterized by its exceptional lightness and fluffiness. This fine quality is achieved through an elaborate brushing process on both the inside and outside and only works with the highest quality and longest cashmere fibres. This process gives the fabric an airy, light feel that makes it pleasantly loose against the skin without any fuzz.
Silk Cashmere
The shimmering melange effect is the result of blending undyed silk with the finest cashmere. The silk component ensures the styles are particularly light, this helps to regulate the body temperature.

Classics at IRIS VON ARNIM are doubleface creations made from a cashmere-wool blend.
Cashmere Silk
Our cashmere-silk styles combine the best of two precious fibres. The yarn with a silk core provides a subtle sheen, while the cashmere composition creates a soft, slightly fuzzy surface. The result are styles which feel pleasant on the skin and are also particularly comfortable to wear.
