A place of inspiration, with a certain nonchalance and typical Nordic straightforwardness and lightness: Iris von Arnim has been deeply connected to Sylt for decades. The special attitude to life on the North Sea island is reflected in the collection for fall/winter 2024.
The collection explores the effortless elegance of the designer's favourite places, the endless dunes and the rather rugged beach. On long walks in the fresh air of the island, she finds relaxation, recharges her batteries and gathers inspiration for new designs. It was here that Iris von Arnim celebrated her first successes as a designer at the end of the seventies. Since 1998, Kampen has been home to the luxury knitwear label's first own store.
"Many things inspire me: it can be a glance, a nice conversation, the summer on Sylt. The island is my second home - I always find inspiration here in the colours and shapes of nature."
IRIS VON ARNIM
The season's color palette focuses on muted natural tones inspired by the North Sea island, such as the stone grey Flannel, the restrained blue shade Lake or soft Camel.There are also strong tones such as merlot red, espresso brown and the deep, dark blue Midnight.
